Ms Chen Yufang

Ms Chen Yufang came to Singapore to pursue her master’s degree at Nanyang Technological University in 2008 and has been working in a variety of roles in the education sector since graduation. With years of experience from teaching at local and international schools, she developed excellent intercultural skills with students from diverse backgrounds, and these skills help her maximize their learning in different classroom settings. Her most recent position was at an international school as a Chinese Teaching Partner, where she was also responsible for the weekly Chinese Immersion Program offered to Prep students.

Ms Chen strongly believes that having a passion and infectious enthusiasm for her subject makes for the best teacher. She is committed to nurturing the love and appreciation for the beauty and richness of the Chinese language and culture in every student. Ms Chen enjoys reading, writing, travelling, jogging and yoga in her free time.
