Ms Chan Ru Ying joins Invictus from St. Joseph’s Institution International Elementary School where she was an Art Teaching Partner. Ms Chan is experienced in teaching Visual Arts in various mediums and enjoys sharing the knowledge, passion and joy of art-making. She aims to spark her students’ interest in art, to bring out the best potential in each student and to inspire them in expressing their thoughts, creativity, and personal voice in their artwork.

A practising artist in Chinese Painting and Seal-Carving, Ms Chan has been a member of the Siaw-Tao Chinese Seal-Carving, Calligraphy & Painting Society since 2005, and participated in several local and overseas group exhibitions. Besides Art, she also enjoys music and nature. Her hobbies include playing the violin, the piano, singing, reading, watching documentaries, and visiting interesting places.
